Shift Reporting
The RLB system can manage up to 4 shifts per 'restaurant'. Managers record
information such as; weather, manager-on-duty and how well the shift performed.
The manager-on-duty and shift report is recorded for each meal period.

The data recorded could be very extensive or changed to a very high level
depending on the restaurant's requirements.
• There are 4 performance categories: Revenues, Labor, Covers and Average Check
• With 4 comparative subcategories for each: Budget, Forecast, Actual and Last Year
Revenues tracked per shift can be broken down further between Food and Beverage.
• Reports and graphs highlight trends and performance.

Staff Performance
A Key use of the RLB will be to record and track employees' performance. Employees'
files will highlight recognition and concerns and are easily maintained.

Special Event Management
Track major upcoming events. This section ensures all managers have complete
contact information and key details of local or in-house events and large parties at a glance.

Lost and Found
Record and track items lost and found within the restaurant.

Maintenance Issues
Broken equipment and tools are a big frustration for managers and employees alike.
This section of the log tracks all outstanding issues and will remain highlighted until
resolved.

Communication Log
In smaller chains, communications such as e-mail or voice mail may need to be recorded
for managers who are on the "next" shift. This will allow managers to keep up to date
with messages being delivered and received.

Guest Issues
Record any major issues with guests, positive or negative. Description of the issue,
how the issue was handled, guest contact information for follow up, manager on duty,
staff member(s) involved and cost to resolve the guest's issue. Can also be printed in
a 'friendly format' for further use.
